Neighbours Restaurant

Neighbours Restaurant is a Taiwanese style restaurant with a variety of Taiwanese food. It has two restaurants in Auckland. One is at 8 Lorne Street while the other one is at Howick. I've been to the city's once and twice at Howick's. When I went to Howick for my 2nd time, I ordered:

"Simmering Chicken Pieces with Rice" (红烧鸡肉饭)

It tasted more like soya sauce chicken to me. Afterall, it was good and was a very appetite dish. The portion was quite a lot for me. Besides the main being served, cold marinated salty cabbage, boiled broccoli and egg fried with onion was also served with the rice. Not only that, the price for this dish is very reasonable which costs only $10. Not bad aye? If you like bubble tea, you can also get it here.

Marinated Mince Pork with Tofu on Rice
This was seriously one big dish. As you can see the side dishes of salty cabbage salad, boiled beans and another tofu is way huge portion. Including the main with the rice, I'm sure you will be full when you finish the whole plate. It was a nice meal and I like it. Again, this also costs $10.
